Tuition Summary*
Flex MBA Tuition
The Flex MBA uses a semester-based tuition model that varies based on two factors: residency status and how many credits you take each semester. Here’s a breakdown of the base tuition based on residency and credit hours:

Online MBA Tuition
- Cost per credit: $857
- Total base tuition: $35,994 (42 credit hours)
- Additional fee: $20 per credit hour Library and IT Assessment fee
Tuition and fees do not include the cost of textbooks and materials, which vary by course. Students will be provided with a list of required textbooks and materials upon registration.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
FAFSA
Students enrolled in either of our MBA programs are encouraged to request federal and state financial aid by completing their FAFSA.
Our FAFSA code is 001776.
Financial Aid Eligibility Requirements
- Online MBA students must be enrolled in at least 8 credit hours to be eligible for financial aid
- Flex MBA students must be enrolled in at least 9 credit hours for financial aid eligibility
- International students must maintain full-time status (9 credits per term)

Merit-Based Awards
UIC Business offers merit-based scholarships to qualified students. These awards are competitive and based on academic achievement and professional experience.
External Scholarships

Military and Veterans Benefits
UIC is committed to supporting military service members, veterans and their families in achieving their educational goals. We offer a range of resources and benefits to make your MBA more accessible.
- In-State Tuition Rates: Active military and veterans receive in-state tuition rates for the Flex MBA program regardless of residency. (This benefit does not apply to the Online MBA, which has a flat rate for all students.)
- Illinois Veterans Grant (IVG): Covers tuition and mandatory fees for eligible Illinois veterans at public institutions in the state.
- Illinois National Guard (ING) Grant: Provides tuition assistance for qualifying service members with at least one year of service.
- MIA/POW Scholarship: Available to dependents of qualifying Illinois veterans.
- Children of Veterans Tuition Waiver: Eligible dependents may apply by March 1 for the upcoming academic year.
